Today there are over 7,000 rare disease that affect 30 million Americans and globally over 4% or over 300 million people of the world’s population are affected by rare disease. What is a rare disease? In the US a rare disease is an indication that affects fewer the 200,000 people. RareRxDAO is a project to bring patients closer to the drug development process to ensure both improved clinical and economic outcomes benefit the primary stakeholders of those battling rare diseases.
